About James Sheldon.
Solicitor, legal technologist and builder of practical tools for litigation workflows.
James Sheldon is a solicitor and technologist based in Manchester.
He works in complex litigation, with a particular interest in the practical systems that sit behind effective legal work: document workflows, litigation bundles, schedules of loss, automation and the careful use of technology in legal practice.
Alongside practice, James builds software for legal workflows. His projects — including CaseFolio and QuantumPro — focus on reducing repetitive administrative work, improving accuracy and helping lawyers work more quickly without losing professional judgment or attention to detail.
Before qualifying, James studied Modern Foreign Languages and then completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course. He is fluent in five languages and has lived and worked in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Spain and Portugal — experience that shapes how he thinks about clear communication, whether in correspondence, in court documents or in an interface.
This site brings together his resources and software projects. It is intended to document practical ideas at the intersection of law, technology and process design.
The projects and resources here are independent and are shared for information only. They are not legal advice and should not be relied upon without proper professional review.
